The Learned Fangirl makes a compelling case for teaching “an entire intellectual property class” based on Barbie case law involving “copyright, trademark, and trade secrets.” Exhibit A is the New York Law Revue’s mashup of Bar/Bri Girl ,which conflates Aqua’s song with the Bar/Bri bar exam prep course. Who said kill all the lawyers?

In Paulo Freire’s transformative work, I find an affirmation deeper than ideology or political activism -- an affirmation of the dynamic role of disability in culture.
